Good skiing/Snowboarding gloves?
i need to buy gloves/mittens that are the warmest option. Does anyone have suggestions?
Buy the best gloves you can afford and look for Goretex and high wrist gauntlets to keep snow out – brands to look for: The North Face, Spyder, Burton, Marmot, Black Diamond

Well I can’t suggest brands, but don’t go for the cheap option out. A $20 (australian dollars that is) pair of skiing gloves will only last a week. If your a regular skier or snowboarder its worth spending over $80, even $100 on a good pair. The cheap pairs tend to be poorly insulated and water gets through them, so your hands smell and look like prunes when you take them out. Also the dye tends to run in cheap pairs.

Mittens will definitely be warmer than gloves, but whichever way you go, I agree with Marie and say definitely go with something that’s as water-resistant as possible… There are several brands out there that are made with Goretex, which is awesome for keeping your hands nice and dry. My favorite so far has been Dakine, but a lot of the pros I know love Hestra…depending on what kind of budget you have, these might be a bit on the "too pricey" side though… good luck and have fun!

The warmest option are mitts there are less seams around the fingers thus being warmer and dryer as some one else said look for gloves made from Gortex (exceptionally waterproof) they will be expensive but worth it.I personally like Level gloves had a few pairs over the years never had a problem with em.Cheers
